Hello fellow participants! We’re about 30 days in and the tournament is reaching it’s conclusion. Before I say more, let me get this in first: I’ll definitly host a second edition after this one is over.
Alright then: It’s been a blast playing all these head on battles, and because I know some of you personally, it’s been a lot fun reading the discussion on tactics, competitive rivalry and anticipation for future rounds from first hand.
I liked how in this set up, everyone faced each other player exactly once, so no matter with whom you had a score to settle, your time would come. Also, there would be no talk of “lucky match-ups”, because everyone basicly performed the same set of matches.
As for the second edition of this tournament, I’ll be aiming to get a few more players in comparison to this first one, again with new games launching twice a week. I’m hoping to find 32 players willing to “risk it all!”, and expect the whole ordeal to last twice as long because of it (so about two months).
