Could I reiterate this wish and maybe get a reply, please? I organise a 4p games tournament on Fast Async. The upside is that games finish quite soon, but I get frequent replies that the 3h time is a bit too stressful for players. I also see that some players time out without really neglecting gameplay (they play till age III and then something happens). I think a middle setting of 6h would be nice, since it would allow players to play morning and evening without running on red time so often. This is also a psychological thing. Red time makes players nervous and stresses them. I'd rather reduce red time and extend blue time a bit. I have hardly seen anyone use up their red time as extra thinking time like in Blitz games. This rather indicates the time until an unwilling player times out. As a tournament organiser, I'd prefer to keep that time low while making life for all dedicated players less stressful.
