Firedart How does it work for the next season(s)? Do you send invites to the participants of this season, how long is the break between seasons, etc? Btw, cool story with the opera thing, fun stuff 🙂

ElChupacabra Yes, everyone from previous season is re-invited, and then anyone that drops out is replaced with anyone else that requests to join (via the Tournaments page on here). Generally it's about 1-2 weeks break between seasons.

Congratulations to @Swampzombie for winning this season. It was super close and came down to the last game for both the winner and those that were relegated. Signups are now open for Season 14, and I'll aim to kick it off on or around 7th Feb.

IdkIdcIdgaf I've tried to calculate it via the tiebreaker rules - there was a 4-way tie in that group. If I've made a mistake I apologise - it's very time consuming to run the calculations. I'll ask Pajada to copy the code they use in other tournaments to this one so that the tournament standings can be made clearer.

This is a big season for me. I've made it up to the Viola level. And my wife is actually a professional viola player! Amazing synergy!

Awwhh man Curtis... I had such high hopes of winning this one :') If i did the calculations of the tiebreaker correct, you win by 0.96% better average score than me. Well played but I'm also kinda sad at the moment.

Hi Guys, question here: is the First Violin group more competitive than the Second Violin one? I got second in the past seasons and both the Winner and I got promoted to Second Violin....

Raistlin3m As far as I understood, there are similar...just two groups on First Violin level (like you have 4 platinum divisions)...but maybe i am wrong. So same level for the two groups.

Raistlin3m this can happen if someone from that level stops playing. Then the divisions are filled up from below and second place could be promoted, too. In general, I'd expect better players further up. 🙂

Raistlin3m First Violin is one league up from Second Violin. So, equivalent of Master vs Platinum in International Championship. There are two First Violin groups, but both are the same level. Same with Second Violin. You were promoted from Second Violin to First Violin for this season for your second place.
There's only one Masterclass group so you have to win First Violin to be promoted 🙂

Firedart and Jorrig, regrettably, I will have to forfeit my final game for this season. I was hoping the season would wrap up before the 17th, but I wasn't even close! I'm in Oboe #1. I look forward to joining next season. If you're able to just remove me from the final game, that will save my group members from having to wait for me to time out.
