Tournament default tie rule

Hi there,

I've been unsuccessfully looking to
1/ understand how ties work in TTA tournaments, by default.

And 2/ how to customize those tie rules if needed: in case of identical tournament points, how to differentiate two or more players? I see it done well on some public tournaments.

If anyone can help that'd be awesome.

I think that default tiebreaker rule is this:

number of 1st places
number of 2nd places
number of 3rd places
random

CGE is implementing some other tiebreaker rules but they are currently hardcoded only for the biggest tournaments I organize (International Championship, Intermezzo Championship). This may change in the future and there will be setting for that in the tournament setup.

Wow that's not really great then 😅
Considering the number of time, in groups, where you end up with the same nb of win/loss than someone else, so ultimately the same points... You easily end up with the random rules being applied which isn't fair.
