Hi pajada, could you please indicate when the next season of the tournament will start? I just noticed the invitation and after I clicked "Accept", it says I am waiting for a slot. Does that mean I have already missed the registration deadline? (I have participated in the previous 2 seasons.)

Important Dates
November 29 - round 1 & round 2 (games 1, 2, 8, 9 will be started)
December 6 - round 3 (games 3, 10 will be started)
December 13 - round 4 (games 4, 11 will be started)
December 20 - round 5 (games 5, 12 will be started)
December 27 - round 6 & 7 (games 6, 7, 13, 14 will be started)
January 24 - expected end of tournament

Registration is still open.
Waiting for a slot only means that current total count of players is not divisible by league size (7) and you are one of the up to 6 last registered players.

@pajada the first round starts on Nov 29, but I couldn't find the exact deadline time for joining. Could you add that to the description?

Pajada, one of our players has not joined either of his games yet. If he times out, can a sub join our league? Is it possible to email him and find out if he’s still interested?

JaneHatke Unfortunately I don't have his email address, so I can't contact him. If he run out of time, you will play with AI. Please read section in description about scoring when AI is playing.

My game International Championship Wood 28 Game 2 is bugged. In game shows next players turn, lobby shows my turn. I am putting in a support ticket.

I put a request in the support forum, which has gotten me a rapid reply before. I will also send to the email. In case I do time out into a bot, please do count it as a demerit against me for being an unsporting player. At this point I have confirmed it is eating my reserve.

I missed the start of the tourmament because the app failed to notify me I had turns waiting (don't know why...). Since I have currently no other games I didn't check. Now I see I've timed out in two games. I suppose there's nothing you can do even if the other players agreed to restart?

Sylvain Hi Sylvain, unfortunately it is not possible. I'm sorry that you run out of time, but start of all rounds is written in description. You still have 5 games to play, try to play to your best and hopefully stay in your division. Good luck!

@pajada Hello. International Championship Bronze 20 game 8 is broken. The app is stuck on "almost your turn" and I can't end it..after discard military cards nothing happens. Can you do something to resume the match?

Since some time ago it's impossible for me to get time to get my turns done correctly. Sadly I would like to abandon the tournament, but can't find any way to stop receiving new games

C4nt3r All seven games you have to play have been already started. If you would like to leave the tournament, please resign (NOT abandon) all games you are playing in. There will be no more games for you (unless you sign up for the next season).

Can we ban players who just give up and time out at the end of the season? Not only do they make the games drag on but they affect the outcome of the tournament. My last game of the season was a 4p game wherein two different players timed out. On the last possible turn they declared suicide wars and donated a huge number of points to the other remaining human player (enough to swing the game).

HentaiLover69 Players who time out 3 times can't play next season and to my knowledge they never come back.
But still new players are signing up for this tournament and around 5% of players time out in every season 🙁

Despite being a direct competitor to the winning spot of Silver 8, I feel compelled to offer a voice of support to HentaiLover69.

Starting a losing war that can only result in donating, instead of taking culture points sure is unsportsmanlike.

If such losing wars were started after AI took control, we can't do much, beside mount a pressure on the game developers, to finally implement the option of a forced resignation instead of AI substitution in the case of tournament time outs.

If however such losing wars were started by human players (before timing out), and it is verified by the tournament committee, it is only fair to attribute to HentaiLover69 tournament points he/she was deprived of and, as it stands right now, the top spot in the Silver 8 group.

AdiQue thank you for your message Adrian. I looked closer at your league and the winner of your league would be the same even if HentaiLover69 had +3 points. For simplicity I will not redistribute the points but if that happens in the next season (AI declaring unfair War) Player's Committee will take a look and probably adjust points.
