Nice, another run. Btw is something wrong with your math example pajada ? Where you divide the score by itself … 100/100 or 200/200 …. Why not B = (90/100 + 200/160)/2 . Hmm could be how well you do in a game is not considered , only how bad you do.

Xterm Yes, winner in the game always set what 100% means, so you are right that it is more important how behind you are in games where you didn't win.
But with more games played I do expect this tiebreaker rule to be applied only rarely.

I don't really understand how the qualifying stage works though. As I read it, only players who have not participated or scored well in official tournaments will play in the qualifiers?

Other than top ranked players receiving a "bye" opponent in qualifying round, will match ups be random?

Thanks for organizing this #2 of 234p games! Now that we'll hopefully have 900+ players and about 800 players playing the Qualifying Stage, perhaps it'll be better for us to rename the stage to "Stage 1" so that it better coheres with the stages on the official website?

SnailZane good idea, I renamed the stages, now they are aligned.
@fugg I will order all players by combination of Glicko and World Championship #1 result and divide them to groups similarly how teams are divided on FIFA World Championship (drawing from performance baskets)
@Chuckles_the_second around 100 players will advance directly to Stage 2 and will not need to play Stage 1 (previously known as qualifying stage)

Who is responsible to make a tabeles to play games?

CGE tournament system automates all the tables and reporting of results.

The tournament administrator needs group players and only decides who advance to the next stage.

Will the final standings of the groups have any effect for the seeding in the second stage? For example, if player A wins the group will he/she be in a higher tier for the 2nd group stage?

Mark0n Yes it will have impact. Performance baskets for Stage 2 will be ordered by these criteria:

are you a player who got bye to Stage 2
place in group in Stage 1
points in group in Stage 1
Glicko rating
random

a player ceej in group 100 spent all his time in 4-player game in round 1and abandoned the game，but he comes back in 3-player game.I think it is better to remake the game

@pajada i messed up one of my turns. I'm bedridden with gastroenteritis so my mind is fuzzy, i tried out an unexpected war against an opponent stronger than me but it wouldn't work out at this circumstance. So i changed my play 100% but i forgot to cancel the war, is it possible we can revert my turn? The player i warred agreed on this as well, if it counts for anything.

wittr in mho, this would open up a pandoras box of takeback-requests which cannot be handled in this kind of tournament.
In addition, you already have seen the new card row.

Sektat I'm not gonna change a single line of my play. As I've said, this was a mere accident due to the terrible condition I was in. I'm already ahead in the game, I was 10 strength points weaker, I had no reason to war like that, I was only testing my strength after building units and revealing tactic. Anyway, the other players already overextended their good faith and ate some of their reserve time while we're waiting for a response. Now I'm chewing away my time for a bit longer, if I don't get a response until tomorrow morning, I guess I'll have to deal with the consequence of being reckless.

wittr mistakes like that sometimes happen. I will not rewind your the game to the state before the game and also you will not receive any penalty for this action as it was mistake. It looks you are still in a good position and can even win the game.
