World Championship #2
Please check group 105 game 11
cbend37 sent 5 military units to colonize being under a war in round 18 and gave all culture to maxolino
Could you remove me from this tournament? Sorry I don't have enough time to continue. Thanks!
pajada I just realized Bastion was talking about my event, I dont know how it happened but I seeded a single event and both Civil Unrest and Inhab Terri II showed up. And now when I check future deck I see the actual Impact card I played along with an "age III Armed Intervention played by Conficius" the problem is Bastion accused me of cheating, yet this is simply a bug and I dont think it is a proper attitude to accuse someone because of a minor software failure.
ChosenWizard yes it is bug. Were you able to get support from the e-mail mentioned in my previous post? What's the situation with this game?
hi!
In Group31 Game6 ,I declared a war ,but I didnt want to do that (i only have 11 military) It was a mistake by accident(
i want to know may i cancel it(
BitterBlossom because it happened in 2p game and you are the only one who will be affected by this mistake you can't cancel your move. If it would be allowed it will open Pandora box of different problems. Mistakes happen, I'm sorry it was in World Championship.
pajada Yep, they replied. However the game was in late Age III and we finished it. Support team still might want to check it for possible future bugs
The scoring of ties does not make sense for duels. Instead of rewarding both players in a tied duel, the splitting of game points between both players actually punishes both players in fuel, relative to the rest of the group.
Splitting points make make sense in 3-player and 4-player games but not in 2-player games in the context of tournament groups.

khyung What's different about splitting points in 2p? Those 2 points for converting a 2p loss into a draw, or a draw into a win, are just as good as the 2 points for converting a 3rd place into a 2nd place in a 3p/4p.
But even if you believe those 2 points are somehow less valuable ... so what? Maybe adjust your strategy to account for it. It's a deliberate design feature of lots of professional sports events and chess tournaments for a win + loss to be better than 2 draws. Likewise, 1st + 3rd is better than 2nd + 2nd in most TtA tournaments.
A bug occured.
The player playing Nostradamus somehow got the right to put in three events and made the decision to put in three events in one political phase.
How should I handle this? In the meantime, I will consult with the digitaltesters@czechgames.com.
Decolonization best approach is to not continue in the game and support on that e-mail for a help. In this case I think rewind of multiple seeds may be possible. As Nostradamus is involved leaked info may not be that big... but it is probably the best we can get from the situation.
Decolonization I contacted CGE with my proposal and they are working on it.
pajada Frankly, I don't really want to play it.
He knew it was a bug and yet he put in 3 events.(If twice, it may be an accident, but three times, it's unlikely.)
If it was not malicious, he would have reported it here.
Since the event leak is occurring, can you let me decide whether to continue or declare the game invalid?

Decolonization To my current knowledge I think that player who plays multiple events during one political phase (even three) still may be innocent.
One explanation of the bug is that client program sent information about seed to server but server process this message two (or three) times. This would also explain why sometimes the seeded card is aggression, tactic, etc.
I will think more about how to approach this problem and write here tomorrow.
Decolonization Were you standing behind me observing my screen to claim ti was a malicious action from my behalf? I pressed the event to be played and nothing happened, my first feeling was I did not land it properly so I choose THE SAME event and tried it again. Nothing happened again and I my guess was I'am definetely ham-handed so I tried THE SAME event once more and my SAME event got posted 3 times in a row. Have I done something wrong? As far as I can see from the game now my event does not appear threefold in the event deck and I did not receive any additional points for playing the event cards.
follik That is because I reported the bug and the game is already fixed at this moment.
You should have reported the bug when the SAME event in a row.
I waited at least a day for it to be fixed.

Assuming the bad in ambiguous situations is not helping anyone, anywhere, ever. "Should have reported", you assume he understood what was happening in the first place, had the time to be bothered with it and had the awareness to do the "right" thing, and still chose not to do that conciously in order to gain an advantage. All this information you just assume.
totally agree with DANeo, i probably wouldn't have understood, and probably wouldn't have had time to check out how to report
