Rules easily overlooked for someone who only played the app

I just learned that the Air force doubles the strength of an army that matches a tactic. The app tutorial doesn't mention it. Are there other rules I may be unaware of having never read the rulebook?

I think it can't harm to read the rulebook.
Do you know that...
1) every player can be proposer of only one pact?
2) that by proposing second pact, if the other player accepts it, the first one is canceled?
3) you can cancel pact as your political action by clicking on it?
4) you can take Monarchy with Hammurabi and still revolt in the same turn using all your remaining civil actions and 1 military action?
5) if you go to corruption and don't have enough rocks to lose you will lose food?
6) if you don't have enough food you will lose 4 culture for each missing one?
7) if you have uprising (not only unhappy faces but angry faces) and famine (not enough food) you will not lose culture for missing food as your whole production phase is skipped?
8) you can play (or adopt) only one tactic every turn?

When playing over the board, you’re likely to get an event in age 1 which does something to the strongest or weakest player. In the case of ties, the active player is strongest, and strength descends down to the left, with the person who just had a turn before the active player being weakest.

Joined to TtA recently I have some more notes which may not be evident (at least for me was not):

You may choose the side in asymetric pacts A<->B.
Pacts obsolete (yes it is written somewhere but I keep forgetting).
Even if you have a pact the aggression is allowed and pact is not cancelled.
If you don't have enough food you will lose 4 culture for each missing one. But culture cannot be below zero.
If you get resources eg. from the event you need to have enough blue boxes available otherwise your income is shortened.
