I think, what you should add is: When rank is tied, sort the list randomly, not by names. (Every table program like excel should have a function for that). If you don't do that, many people will face the same opponents again and again.

Hello. In my group the player Shezbot timed out and I then abandon the game. I recall reading that if the other player times out one could quit and still count as a victory, but I appear as -10 in the ranking.

maiquelPS If your opponent Time out, please choose to Resign instead of Abandon,otherwise you will also judge Time out. Of course, you can also choose to finish. Karhaix -10 points is convenient for counting players who have timed out. You will get a normal score when counting results

Karhaix Did you abandon the game or resign? If your opponent time-out, you may resign or just continue playing against robot (you will get +1 even if you lose to the robot). However, PLEASE DO NOT ABANDON, otherwise we will not be able to to recognize the result because the website just tells us both players abandoned. We will give you +1 score this time because you contact with us, but please do not abandon any game in the future.
