@Balzi - i manually start the games as and when I see fit. I'm going to aim on having at least 1 and ideally no more than 2 games per person. But I've got to manually pick and choose which games work well, so don't have a go when you have too few or too many!

I've just looked at the games that have been generated, and the player groupings is really really bad. There are quite a few players who never play each other, and there are others that you play in loads of games. It almost looks like it grouped 4 or 5 players together and then just grouped all the games from that mini group. Very poor, and can only apologise

I wondered what was going on. Plus I’ve had at least 4 games start. Maybe 5. No big deal though.

Youve had 5 now. The most of everyone, but I've got my eye on it and won't start too many for you for a bit. What's your max preferred ongoing games at one time. Most peoples seems to be 2-4, but if you are nearer the 2 range I'll not start any for you for a bit. I know I said 1 or 2 games on the go, but most people wanted one or two more than that

I’m happy with a few. No more than 4-5 though. Oddly the tournament says it’s got 21 games but there’s 17 games per player. Something doesn’t add up

today a new game started with exactly the same opponents as a completed game. Is that expected? Seems like an odd tournament fixture but maybe this is what you hinted at

Hey Balzi and Golgotha . Yes the random match generator was a joke this tournament. Some of us are not playing 3 or 4 of the other 12 players at all, and some are playing the same person like 9 or 10 times. There are some 3p games where the same 3 people play each other in THREE games! I'm trying to spread opponents out a bit, but when you play player a and b only once, and player c 9 times, you're just going to have to play that person more often I'm afraid

I guess you don’t actually want a random match generator. You want a shuffle that mixes things up with a touch of random that is still balanced. Oh well. It has sill been fun to play with a new group

Ideally.... to really know who the master of the universe is, don’t we want everyone to play everyone else in 2,3 and 4 player games? How many games would that be? Hundreds in total.

I have been thinking about this, and really with only 13 participants I’d expect to play the other 12 players in four 4P games, and six 3P games and twelve 2P games. You could add in a few more 3 and 4 and just randomly select 4-6 opponents for 2P. Seems mostly fair

so, i can't choose opponents, it's completely out of my hands. I can only pick number of games, and even then it has to match with some sort of permutation algorithm
