Firedart, do you have a sense for when this tournament will begin? I will have no access to internet for a few days in the middle of May, and I'm concerned that I will time out if the tournament has begun. I think I'll have to withdraw from the tournament if it begins before the middle of the month.

The next season will kick off on Monday 10th. Anyone that has not accepted their invite before then will be replaced with players that have requested to join.

Welcome to Season 8! Congratulations to Swampzombie for winning back to back seasons!
All timed out players have been removed, and replaced with players from the waiting list. Promotions and relegations have been processed, and players from the rehearsal groups have been put into relevant groups. It took quite a lot of work so huge apologies if I've missed a promotion - I'll rectify next season if I have. You'll notice there's now 2 of each instrument group with the exception of the Conductor Masterclass, therefore only one player will be promoted from each First Violin group. More info is in the tournament description.
Any questions please post in here or add me in game.

Any thoughts on doubling the number of games per season and splitting into more batches? So each season you'd play 8 games not 4, and the season would take place over a longer period.

Firedart do I understand correctly that a player from the triangle needs to win in like 9 seasons in a row to get to the first violine?

Firedart Thanks! I think 4 games are optimal (at least for lower divisions).

Binki First or second place in their group - but yes, they would have to do that every season. In some cases I will promote players further who are obviously in too low a division when spaces in higher divisions open up due to timeouts or players leaving.
