Firedart - It's great that you're taking this over. It was a fun tournament. However, I will need to decline the invitation for Season #2 due to upcoming work commitments. I would love to have be given a chance to join Season #3 (if there is one), but understand if that doesn't work.

IdkIdcIdgaf Yes, any new players will be put into 'rehearsal' groups before being distributed into the proper tournament structure after the next round.

Lots of new players have joined this season, and I'll be placing them all into rehearsal groups while the established players continue the normal division structure. After one rehearsal round for new players I will distribute them into an expanded group structure based on performance.

The current TTA Orchestra tournament is still ongoing, but is nearing conclusion. Once complete I'll distribute players into groups and kick off the first round of the new tournament.

I missed the fact that this tournament is played in fast async modus. This is not workable for me. Can I still quit.

Just a note, if anyone in your group times out, please continue the game as usual with the AI taking the place of the timed out player. All players that timed out of games will be removed before the next round. It's a Fast Async tournament, so we'll need to ensure all our players are active, and as we have a lot of new players joining, there are sure to be some who are unable to play regularly enough for this speed (but didn't realise before they joined).

I'm in orchestra #3 I believe, but haven't seen any of the started games. Am I missing something? Have the others in my group begun?

Kolo The first 3 games of our group have started. You are playing in games 4-7 which have not yet begun. They are slowing releasing games to not overwhelm people with too many games at once.

My game TTA Orchestra #2 Second Violin game 3 is bugged. I did my turn and it sais its next player but clock is still counting down. Any ideas? I dont want to be kicked from tournament :/

Haxxorn Is it still bugged? You can contact CGE support if it is, I'm not able to fix individual games unfortunately.

Are the games numbered automatically or manually? I notice that all 4 games including me are the last 4 to kick off in our group while all 6 other players in the group are playing in 2 of the first 3 games released. Hopefully I'll avoid accidentally timing out of any this time, but it's a shame they'll all be so bunched up 🙁

Glamdring the game randomly assigns games into batches, though I can manually launch games in a different order I believe. Let me see if that’s possible for your ones so I don’t flood you with games in batch 3

Glamdring I have tried this before in the previous tournament, it is not possible to change this with the current seeding algorithm. The seeding always has two matching players between any two games. So, whatever pair of games you take, two players will be in both and one is out. You can do the calculus for yourself now, but with this seeding it is impossible to include all 7 players in 3 matches. If you launch batches of 3-2-2 matches there will be four players playing 2-1-1, but one each playing 2-2-0, 2-0-2 and 0-2-2. This could only be resolved by a completely different group size and games number or by playing 4 4p and 3 3p games like the International.

IdkIdcIdgaf I had discussed this with Firedart. Probably there will be one Conductor Masterclass and all other instruments doubled. Final decision is with him, of course, and depends also on participation. Maybe not all instruments will be doubled.

IdkIdcIdgaf as Jorrig said, I think most likely we will have two versions of all instruments except the masterclass. So players could be in “First Violin #2” or “First Violin #1”.
