I noticed that the Transcontinental Ladder declared a winner from group 12 as "The Winner" of the whole round. So I'm guessing that points are used for this as well.
In this tourney there are 22 groups and there was a 22-way-tie in stage 1 since everyone plays exactly 1 game per round and the winners all get 2 points. For our tourney, the winner should rightly be the winner of group 1, but this system doesn't see it that way.
I also notcied a large culture point spread for the "Winner" in this players game. So I wonder if it's using the "dominance" as a tiebreaker.
