I will do another tournament in the same format soon!
I may need to restrict it to Europe / US only. The "time zone problem" that I have previously described in this thread, is a real problem when you want to participate in games that move along at a good pace.
Case in point: the final four ended over a month ago, and the rest of the tournament is still not over! In fact, I am in games that are still ongoing that include an Australian player. For some reason, he has started to slow walk play. I've asked him about it but I got no response. A short time ago he seems to have missed at least two days of play, and when the players are in time zones that have no waking overlap, that creates an unacceptable delay.
Remember, I intended this to be a "fast async" tournament.
For my own reasons, I do not want to start another 16 player round until this one ends. Which at this rate, could take a couple more weeks. We are currently in age II in our last three games. It's agonizingly slow in my opinion.
So, stay tuned!
