Thyrus it’s ok! 5 is your actual rank. But when I seed a season I should have the number of players which is divided by 3 for each tier. From all players with 5 rank, you have one the two best tie-breakers (result points and then Glicko rating), so for this particular season you are playing one tier up then your actual rank is.

If I have won one and lost one shouldn't I be back to rank 7 then?

Thyrus no, now your rank is 5. Win adds one, second changes nothing, third subtracts one. So in this case your rank would remain 5. Also rank could change according to Glicko rating quarterly updates.

Barnstormer Pajada updates rating quarterly. Last update was this month, so the next one should be on September
